FindCeramicCoating.com (“we”, “us”) operates a public directory of brand-certified ceramic coating and PPF installers. This privacy policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data.

Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information you provide directly: when you submit a quote request, contact form, business listing claim, or featured listing purchase, we collect the information you enter (name, email, phone, vehicle details, message).
  • Information from public sources: our installer directory is built from manufacturer-published certification databases (XPEL, Ceramic Pro, STEK, SunTek, etc) and the Google Places API. This data is publicly available; we aggregate and structure it.
  • Automatically collected information: our web hosting platform logs basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, page visited, referrer) for security and performance monitoring. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or behavioral analytics.

How We Use Your Information

  • Quote requests: when you submit a quote request through an installer profile, we forward your message to that installer and to our admin email.
  • Contact and claim forms: messages are forwarded to our admin email for review.
  • Site operation: we use logged data to operate, secure and improve the site.
  • Marketing: we do not send unsolicited marketing email. If you sign up for a newsletter in the future, the signup itself constitutes consent.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the site. Each one has its own privacy policy:

  • Supabase — database and storage hosting.
  • Vercel — web hosting and edge network.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery for quote requests, contact forms and confirmations.
  • Google Maps / Places API — installer location data, address verification and embedded map views on installer profiles.
  • Stripe — payment processing for featured listing purchases.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies for site operation (session storage, CSRF protection, preference storage). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels at this time. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this policy and provide a clear opt-out.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us via the form at /contact and we will respond within 30 days.

If you believe your information is being misused, you also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
